How does one make perfect loop?

So I've made my first loop in flash CS5. But every time it loops there's a small pause that irritates me a lot. I'm only new to flash so I don't know how common or simple this problem is. I would be more than thankful if anyone can help me with this!

Did you use .flv or mp3 files ?
There is alsways a small pause ~

in case .flv: use the "gotoAndPlay(#)" function @ end of the loop to skip a few frames. ( insert a framenumber for '#' )

in case mp3: always use .wav
